A Common Pierrot, spotted near Phnom Penh. This species of butterfly is found across South and Southeast Asia, and belongs to the Lycaenidae family.

This tiny butterfly measures between 25 and 32 millimeters, and has the scientific name Castalius rosimon. It is overall white, with black edges, bands and spots, which are somewhat broader in females.

The upperside of the wings are mainly white, with a black edge, and with a metallic blue shine towards the base.
