The many Chinese figures in Wat Poh are proof of a Chinese influence early on. The one on the left is Shou, the god of longevity who always carries a staff with a dragonhead and the peach of immortality in his hands. He is one of the Three Star Gods, recognizable by his abnormally high forehead.
