Mae U Ko Mountain in the amphur Khun Yuam of Mae Hong Son Province.

Annually, during the month of November, the Bua Thong Flower Blooming Season takes place here.

In this period, a small kind of sunflower known as the Japanese Sunflower and widespread in this province, starts to bloom.

The Japanese Sunflower has the botanical name Tithonia diversifolia  (fig.) and is the provincial flower of Mae Hong Son.
