Bangkok Mega-Bridge

The Bangkok Mega-Bridge, also known as Industrial Ring Road Bridge (fig.), is built as part of the Industrial Ring Road project. As part of the ring that surrounds the capital it connects Samut Prakan (fig.) with Bangkok. The Bangkok Mega-Bridge is made up of two separate yet interconnecting bridges, which are named after King Rama IX and individually known as Bhumipol Bridge 1 (fig.) and Bhumipol Bridge 2 (fig.).
