The logo of Interpol, i.e. a world globe, which refers to its worldwide activities; a sword, representing law enforcement; a balanced scale, symbolizing justice; and a laurel wrath, which symbolizes peace and victory; as well as some banners with the organization's name Interpol and the abbreviations OIPC and ICPO, which stand for the French Organisation Internationale de Police Criminelle and the English International Criminal Police Organization, respectively. Behind the Interpol logo, in burgundy -the colour associated with the Thai Police Force- is a silhouette of the emblem of the Royal Thai Police, i.e. a sword across a round shield. The background of the stamp is made up of the Thai text Phitak Santiraht (พิทักษ์ สันติราษฎร์), which translates as Guarding the Peace of the Nation/Population’.
