red are the Thai and Chinese words for elephant, i.e.
chang
(ช้าง) and xiàng (象),
respectively. The stamp on the left is said to represent a Thai
elephant herd while the design on the right represents a Chinese
elephant herd. Both herds are drinking from a river that originates
from the same source, referring to a friendly and mutual beneficial
relationship between the two countries. |
