  seua kruy

Thailand

Seua kruy is the name for a long academic gown, as well as the name of the white gown worn by candidate monks (fig.) and Thai brahman priests. This particular one, in indigo with orange lining, is from Bangkok's Ramkamhaeng University. The red borders and shawl-like neckpiece defines the specialty and will be of another colour for a different faculty.
