The Yellow-vented Bulbul, here seen standing on a lotus leaf (fig.) on the outskirts of Phnom Penh, is a common resident in Cambodia.

 

It can be found in cultivated areas, scrub, palm groves and secondary growth, mostly near well watered sites or coastal areas. See also List of Thai Animal Names.
