The main zedi of Soon Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda, located on the main hill top of Sagaing, which is named Nga-pha, i.e. ‘Frog Hill’ (fig.).

One of the pavilions hence has a bronze frog statue to honour the hill's name (fig.), whereas a wide balcony surrounding the main stupa offers a panoramic aerial view of the hill's entire area.

The northern hall at then main entrance to this pagoda houses a large Buddha image seated in the maravijaya pose.
