  Sangklaburi pagoda

The pagoda of Wat Wang Wiwekaram (fig.) in Sangkhlaburi is built in the style of the Mahabodhi pagoda in Bodhgaya (India) and has an amalaka ornament (fig.) at the top, underneath the chattra. It is one of two pagodas in Thailand that are built similar to the Mahabodhi pagoda in India. The other one is that of Wat Yahn in Chonburi (fig.).
