  Oleander Hawk-moth

The Oleander Hawk-moth has camouflage colours reminiscent to those used by the military, hence it is also referred to as the Army Green Moth. Its name derives from the fact that in the caterpillar stage (fig.), this species feeds on the highly toxic leaves of Oleander (fig.). See also List of Thai Insect Names.
