Drumstick Tree is the nickname for the Cassia fistula, a tree known in Thai as rachaphreuk and in the West commonly referred to as Golden Shower, due to its drooping branches with countless showy yellow flowers (fig.). The nickname refers to its long, tubular seedpods (fig.).
