The circular coat of arms 
of  
		      Chanthaburi shows a radiating moon and in its centre a 
 
	
						
						rabbit. 
On the one hand it stands for the beauty and tranquility of its landscape and cool nature,
and on the other hand it refers to the name of the town that literally means ‘city of the moon’. The rabbit
represents ‘the rabbit on the
