Wat Tham Phanthurat (วัดถ้ำพันธุรัตน์) is a Buddhist cave temple in Khlong Sok (คลองศก), in the close proximity to the Headquarters and adjacent Visitor Center of Khao Sok (เขาสก) National Park, in Surat Thani (สุราษฎร์ธานี). The temple is located in a picturesque area, surrounded by lush greenery and limestone mountains. The adjacent mountain has a natural cave with a Buddha statue and statues of characters related to both Buddhism and Thai folklore. A staircase on the southern flank of the mountain leads to the summit which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Situated in a natural setting, the compound attracts wild Long-tailed Macaques that inhabit the area. The temple has constructed a platform where visitors can feed the monkeys, and ropes and tiers attached to trees create a playground for them. 回
