Beung Kum is a marsh of water lilies in many different colours. It is located in Bangkapi, on the outskirts of Bangkok.

Though this floating garden is situated on the side of an important road and barely noticed by most traffic passing, the local administration has made it into a protected area.

It covers an area the size of a football field and is located at the corner of Seri Thai and the entrance street to Beung Kum's District Office.

As seen in the pictures, the pond has a mixture of mostly pale yellow and purple flowers, with some violet in colour.
