Giant statue of Yan Wang at Fengdu Ghost City on Mingshan Hill along the Yangtze River in central China. Yan Wang is the Chinese name for Yama, the Vedic god of death and guardian of the South, who in Chinese is also known as Yan Mo (fig.) and his consort is called Yan Mi (fig.).
