  Royal Elephant National Museum

The Royal Elephant National Museum in  Dusit displayed attributes related to White Elephants and was housed in the former royal elephant stables in Bangkok.

 

There were two buildings, of which the oldest was erected in 1906 by King Rama V, the other in 1927 by King Rama VII. On display, amongst others, was a large model of a white elephant (fig.).
