Rayong

The coat of arms of Rayong bears the depiction of an island with a royal pavilion and a palm tree. It refers to the island of Koh Samet (fig.), just off the coast of the tambon Pe. The island has clean white sandy beaches and many coco palms. The pavilion was built by order of king Chulachomklao for use during a royal tour.
