Personal Flag of King Maha Vajiralongkorn

Thailand

The personal royal flag of King Maha Vajiralongkorn. It is different of his personal flag as Crown Prince (fig.), as it now has his Royal Signature, i.e. a chadah-style crown with the initials V. P. R. (ว.ป.ร.) set in a circular fashion and which stands for Vajiralongkorn Prom Rajatiraat (วชิราลงกรณ ปรมราชาธิราช), i.e. ‘Vajiralongkorn, Greatest King of Kings’.

It is very similar to the personal flag of King Bhumipon Adunyadet (fig.). The yellow field (fig.), the colour for Monday according to the sih prajam wan-system, refers to the fact that both these monarchs were born on a Monday.
