NATURE & GASTRONOMY

Cambodia

In flight, Lyle's Flying Foxes drag their legs parallel behind their bodies, but when landing they turn into an upright position and will spread the legs, ready to grab a tree branch.

Though they approach the roost in an upright position, upon landing they almost immediately fall into their typical head-down position.
