  Brown Shrike

A Brown Shrike (fig.), spotted perching on the tip of a palm leaf in Bago. It has mainly brown upper parts, a creamy underside, with rufous flanks and a rufous belly, and a black mask, with a whitish brow over it. This young bird also has some fine scalloping on the underside.
