  khakkhara

Thailand

Khakkhara or beggar's staffs are attributes of certain arahats, monks and bodhisattvas in Mahayana Buddhism.

The khakkhara shown here are capped with metal loops and one has six, the other four rings, indicating the Six Paramitas and the Four Noble Truths, respectively.
