Three well camouflaged nests (fig.) of Weaver Ants high up in a treetop in Phrae province. Inside are plenty of khai mot daeng (fig.), the edible larva or ‘eggs’ of the red ants.

 

This tree, in Kanchanaburi province, is literally infested with Weaver Ants' nests.
