Hemotoxic venom. Very painful bite, though usually not fatal it may lead to necrosis.

White-lipped Pit Vipers usually have a green dorsal side and a yellow ventral side, whilst its tail is brownish, and their eyes are generally yellow. Yet, occasionally there are snakes whose dorsal side is more yellowish and whose eyes are brownish red. See also List of Thai Animal Names.
