  Wat Lahn Kuat

Thailand

Wat Lahn Kuat (fig.) in Sri Saket province is decorated with innumerable glass bottles and is also known as Wat Maha Chedi Kaew, i.e. the ‘Temple of the Great Glass Pagoda’.

The majority of the empty bottles used in the temple's construction are large-sized green or brown bear bottles, said to have been acquired during a major cleanup of the litter in the area.
