  Four Shwe Daw Lay Su Pagodas

A laminated poster with depictions of the four temples entwined in the Shwe Daw Lay Su legend of King Anawrahta (fig.), i.e. Tantkyitaung Zedi (fig.), Shwezigon Phaya (fig.), Lawkananda Zedi (fig.), and Tuyintaung Zedi (fig.), that were all built to house tooth relics of the Buddha. According to popular believe, if pilgrims to these sites are able to visit all four locations in a single morning, their wishes will be fulfilled.
