Sukhothai

The coat of arms of Sukhothai bears the portrait of King (Poh Khun) Ramkamhaeng (fig.) seated on a stone throne from where he taught his people. On Buddhist holy days (Wan Phra) the king would invite monks (nimon) to preach to the people from this throne.
