  Prasat Satjatham

Prasat Satjatham, referred to in English as the Sanctuary of Truth, is built on a 80 rai plot of land called laem rachawej beach near North Pattaya, in the province of Chonburi.

 

Apart from its enclosure (fig.), it is made entirely out of wood, and features many carvings with a mixture of themes from Buddhism and Hinduism, as well as from mythology, as seen here in the thepatida used as chofa-like spires (fig.) on the rooftops, the tower with the four faces of Brahma (fig.), and the statue of the three-headed elephant Erawan (fig.).
