RELIGION & MYTHOLOGY

  Pjinsajupa

Thailand

Pensajuba or Pjinsajupa is a composite animal (fig.) from Burmese mythology, which features are reminiscent of −and perhaps influenced by− certain other creatures found in Chinese and Thai mythology, including Bi Xie (fig.), Kilen (fig.), and Warih Kunchon.

The one in the photo above has an elongated body and is reminiscent of a creature from Himaphan, known as Kraison Naga.
