moo manao (หมูมะนาว)

Thai. ‘Pork lemon’. Name of a dish or snack made of boiled, usually elongated and thin strips of pork, covered with a sauce made with green prik khee noo chilies, lemon juice, sugar, and some fish sauce. The dish is served with some fresh vegetables, such as sliced kalamplih cabbage (fig.); mint leaves (fig.); sliced garlic; and sometimes Chinese broccoli known in Thai as kha-nah (fig.); cucumber, usually cut lengthwise; and some dried chilies.
