Members of the Crime Suppression Division of the Royal Thai Police lining-up in front of the King Rama VI Statue at Rajaprasong, on the corner of Lumphini Park, in Bangkok. This monarch was known by the name Vajiravudh, meaning ‘armed with a vajra’. To symbolize this, the lampposts in this square are topped with a vajra (fig.).
