NATURE & GASTRONOMY

  Japanese Emperor Oak

China

The Japanese Emperor Oak has leaves with a shallowly lobed margin, that are reminiscent in shape to those of the English Oak.

It bears pendulous flower clusters, known as catkins, and its acorns sit in broad, bristly cups. See also List of Thai Botanical Names.
