  Domesticated Silkmoth

A female Domesticated Silk-moth of the species Bombyx mori. Though it can flap its wings, it is unable fly.

 

It has a white, hairy body, with females being more bulky than males, for they are carrying the eggs. Furthermore, it has dark, feather-like antennae on the top of its head, and a wingspan of about 3 to 5 centimeters. See also List of Thai Insect Names.
