  Chocolate Soldier

A Chocolate Soldier, which is also known as a Chocolate Pansy. The upperside of both sexes is brown of varying depths of colour and with brown lines and a tiny white spot near the front edge of each forewing.

 

It has wavy lines on the underside of the wings, that vary from wet to dry season forms. Females visibly differ from males by white markings on the oblique line on the underside of the hind wing. See also List of Thai Insect Names.
