  Chinese Stripe-necked Turtle

A young adult Chinese Stripe-necked Turtle of which the three keels on the carapace, typical with juveniles, have almost completely disappeared with age. It still shows some orange brown on the projections where the keels once were.

 

This species is characterized by a series of black and yellow stripes from the head to the neck, and front legs with five toes. See also List of Thai Animal Names.
