Portrait of King Chulalongkorn, i.e. Rama V, during whose reign the Police Cadet (fig.) Academy was founded (fig.). In the background are the police cadet school buildings, while the logo of the Police Cadet Academy is in the top left corner and consists of a wine-and-black heraldic shield or escutcheon, with in black-and-white a sable and a sword crossed behind a round protective shield, reminiscent to the escutcheon of the Royal Thai Police, but with a eight-pointed star, akin to the stars used for the ranks of commissioned police officers (fig.).
