  Brown-chested Jungle Flycatcher

An adult Brown-chested Jungle Fflycatcher, spotted in  a tree near Wat Phra Sri Sanphet in Ayutthaya. It is 16 centimeters tall, has olive-brown upperparts, and greyish-white underparts with faint throat mottling and pale buffish-brown colouring on the breast and flanks.

 

It has a black beak, with a pale yellowish, lower mandible, though in its first winter, the lower mandible becomes also dark, as visible in this photo taken in the cold season. See also List of Thai Animal Names.
