  Brown Wood-owl

The Brown Wood-owl is a medium-sized, nocturnal bird of prey, with an average size of around 47 to 53 centimeters, and has buff brown facial discs, with a dark border and dark eyes. Its upperparts are dark brown, with faint white spotting on the shoulders, whilst the underparts are buff with dark brown bars. The breast is often dark brown. See also List of Thai Animal Names.
