  Black-naped Oriole (male)

A male Black-naped Oriole. It is largely yellow with a pink beak, grey legs, black  wing tips and tail feathers on the upperside, and is easily recognized by its broad black eye-band, that joins on the nape and is reminiscent of a burglar's mask.

 

This passerine bird with the scientific name Oriolus chinensis is found through-out South and Southeast Asia. See also List of Thai Animal Names.
