  Bangkok Mega-Bridge

 

The Bangkok Mega-Bridge, also known as Industrial Ring Road Bridge (fig.), is built as part of the Industrial Ring Road project. Despite its name it is not in Bangkok, but is part of the ring that surrounds the capital, and is located in Samut Prakan (fig.). Beside this, the Bangkok Mega-Bridge is made up of two separate bridges, named after King Rama IX and know individually as Bhumipol Bridge 1 (fig.) and Bhumipol Bridge 2 (fig.).
